NO-SHOW/LATE CANCELLATION

When a patient cancels without giving enough notice or fails to attend an appointment, they prevent another patient from being seen.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, you must notify us as soon as possible, and must contact us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled arrival time with any rescheduling requests.

For a pre-enrolled patient, if you fail to provide us with 24 hours prior notice or fail to attend an appointment, a fee will be charged to your account that is equivalent to your normal fee. If there are no fees for children, then we charge the parents a nominal fee. For a newly enrolled patient, in the same scenario, you would have a flat charge of $50.  Any outstanding amount must be settled prior to any further appointment bookings. This policy is in place out of respect for our clinicians and patients.

OVERDUE ACCOUNTS/UNPAID FEES

Payment Policy: We prefer same day payment when the service is provided. Any unpaid fees will incur a recurring charge of $5 per calendar week starting from the date of invoice. You may be declined bookings for further services once your overdue amount exceeds $50. Any unpaid fees within 3 months will be forwarded to our debt-collection agency. You will then also be charged a $100 admin fee in addition for the debt collection process. So we request that you please comply and pay our fees on time. If you are facing financial constraints, we encourage you to speak with our reception team. They will assist you to explore suitable payment plans.

If a patient came to see the doctor and then he/she did not get what they requested, it may be because the doctor felt it is not in your best interest to have that request fulfilled (e.g. a certain prescription medicine). However, you will still be required to pay a consultation fee.

If you need help with paying your fees, you can organise automatic payments and pay over time.

BEING LATE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

We strive to see all patients promptly, so we kindly request that everyone arrives on time for their appointments. If a patient arrives late or exceeds the 15-minute booking window, it can disrupt our appointment schedule and cause delays for all subsequent appointments. Therefore, our policy states that if you are late, we may only be able to accommodate the remaining time within the original 15-minute booking. However, if you are significantly late (e.g., more than 7 minutes), we may need to ask you to reschedule your appointment.

Sometimes, we encounter medical emergencies and complex cases requiring urgent extended attention. This is beyond our control and may result in wait times for you. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by such delays and appreciate your understanding.
